The Green Hub is divided into two sections: Home and Car.

Home:
Add your home to check its energy efficiency — we’ll pull your Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) and show you how your property compares to the UK average.
Car:
Add your car if you have one, to find out its emissions level and keep record of important dates like when your MOT and Road Tax expiries.
From there, you can explore greener alternatives and make informed decisions with our Helpful Tools. Here’s what you’ll find...
In the Home tab

1. Green Home Plan
Whether you own or rent, the Green Home Plan gives you tailored steps to reduce your carbon footprint and save money on energy bills.
How to Use:
1) Select the Green Home Plan tool in the Home tab.
2) If you have a current EPC, we’ll pull the data to understand more about your home. If not, we’ll ask a few quick questions.
3) Get a personalised action plan with suggestions to improve energy efficiency and lower emissions.
4) Save recommended upgrades to your plan and see their potential savings.
5) Enquire with our trusted home improvement suppliers who offer Tandem financing options¹ for upgrades.
If you don't see a supplier for an upgrade you’ve been recommended, we're working on it!

2. Home Value Estimate
Curious about a property’s value? The Home Value Estimate gives you a quick guide price — whether you’re buying, selling, or tracking home improvements.
How to Use:
1) Select the Home Valuation tool in the Home tab.
2) Enter a few details about the property.
3) Instantly see its estimated fair market value (what it would likely sell for in an open market).
You can check the value of up to five properties per month for free.

1. Car Search & Finance Eligibility Checker
Looking for a greener car? The Car Search & Finance Eligibility Checker helps you find and finance lower-emission vehicles.
How to Use:
1) Go to the Car section in the Green Hub tab and select the Car Search tool.
2) Browse greener used cars from our partner, CarMoney’s dealer network, including EVs, hybrids, and lower-emission petrol cars emitting no more than 110g/km of carbon — lessCO₂ per mile than it takes to make your morning latte!²
3) Once you find a car, continue through the Finance Checker to estimate how much you’re eligible to borrow with Tandem, based on a soft credit check³.
4) If eligible, CarMoney will get in touch to connect you with the dealership and guide you through the finance application process.
You can also use the Finance Checker tool on its own, if you know a car’s registration and mileage. If eligible, CarMoney will get in touch to discuss your options.

Buying, selling, or insuring a car? The Car Value Estimate tool gives you a clear idea of its current worth.
How to Use:
1) Select the Car Value Estimate tool in the Car tab.
2) Enter the car’s registration number and mileage.
3) Instantly receive an estimated market value, based on its make, model and current mileage
You can check the value of up to five cars per month for free.
